Few decisions are more important or have as much impact on our daily lives, routines, and quality of life as where we choose to live. Even if it's just for a few years, it's crucial to make the right choice and find a house that becomes your home, making life easier.
Skypark Valdebebas? For example. This time, it's not us talking about the benefits of this better way of life, as our slogan says, but the residents of this community settled in the north of Madrid.
Like Silvia, one of the neighbors at Skypark Valdebebas, who didn't want to miss the chance to share her experiences as a resident in this real estate development, feeling very much a part of it, and who, as you can see in the video, makes the most of it.
The Services You Need
She considers herself one of the "first colonizers" since she moved into Skypark just a few weeks after its inauguration. Back then, shops, pharmacies, and restaurants were just beginning to open, and at a steady pace that has, by 2024, provided everything you could need without having to drive.
On our blog, you'll find practical information about the different services that support daily life in the neighborhood. Not only do they make life easier, but they also add a touch of excitement to your routine, with quality dining options, cafés where you can enjoy breakfast and work on your laptop in spacious areas without the crowding of busier zones, places to take care of yourself… and even a clothing repair shop. You won't miss a thing! Plus, Skypark has numerous agreements with various businesses in the neighborhood, so you can check out Skypark's active promotions and stay updated on any news!
A Green Environment to Breathe
As Silvia points out, Skypark Valdebebas is a neighborhood in the north of Madrid where you can enjoy a life of your own, without constantly needing to go to the city center. In fact, you might even forget about life inside the M30 since what Skypark Valdebebas and its surroundings offer isn’t available on a crowded Gran Vía.
But you can still reach Madrid’s main areas in no time. For example, by car, you can be at Barajas in 9 minutes, Plaza Castilla in 11 minutes, and Salamanca neighborhood in 22 minutes.
We’re talking about parks where you can truly get lost. But really get lost, not just as a marketing gimmick. So, just in case, bring your phone and its GPS app because the Felipe VI forest park, right in front of Skypark, is the second-largest green space in Madrid, after Casa de Campo, with almost 500 hectares—that’s nearly 500 football fields all to yourself.
Silvia, our protagonist today, loves the wide green spaces she finds around her for one of her favorite activities: walking her dog.
Because the green areas are there, and you give them meaning, a purpose. You can use them to keep your step counter happy, to go running, to find an ideal spot to meditate, or to plan cycling and walking routes that include the parks in the area and lead you to others waiting to be discovered.
And, of course, admire from your window a wide, clear horizon that’s not gray with pollution but green with forest.
Activities for a Fulfilling Life
We look for a job that fulfills us and helps us grow as individuals and professionals, but we also seek activities that add some fun and motivation to our day-to-day, both during the week and on weekends.
Silvia, one of the first residents of Skypark Valdebebas, is aware of the added value this community offers, and she takes advantage of it in her own way.
"I enjoy and participate in the activities. Plus, it helps get to know the neighbors, to enjoy plans together, whether it's Croqueta Day or paddle tournaments," Silvia says. She also loves having access to an urban garden and, of course, enjoying the long pool during summer days. Because once you enter from the side, you have 27 meters of pool to swim in complete peace. Really swim, unlike most community pools that offer a refreshing dip but don't allow for real exercise.
